I ordered this bag for my 10U daughter. This bag is huge and could fit a teammate in it!Side pockets unzip to hold 3 bats on each side. It has a bottom compartment for cleats/shoes. Top compartment holds her 3 gloves and face mask for easy access. It has large wheels and a retractable handle that she loves along with 2 straps/clips to attach to the fence. One strap ripped after 3 weeks but the company replaced it and provided a return shipping label. Great bag and customer service!

Our team has been using Maxball bags for a while. There is no doubt the Cobra XL is gigantic, with lots of places for lots of stuff. However, my DD and her teammates (particularly the catchers who tend to use the full capacity of the bag) have had issues with the material at the edges of the side pockets failing at the seam. It's not the stitching of the seams coming apart, but the material itself tearing. It's happened on every one of the Cobra and Cobra XL bags the players have had - sometimes very quickly. Maxball replaced the first few bags that had the issue, but have since refused to replace others. Our bags are navy and red, and the failures have all been with the red fabric, so maybe it's specific to that color.

This is my DD's bag right now in the back of my car...

She's been using this one for about 3 months, and this is typical of the failures for all of the Cobra and Cobra XL bags our team has used in the past year.

Best and most indestructible catcher's bags we've tried have been the Mizuno Team MX bags. They're huge and we've had zero issues with them. Older DD made probably 8 flights with hers plus 100 or so games last year, no rips or tears whatsoever.

This year, the team moved to a different Mizuno bag without the retractable handle, and we have had a couple rip already. Glad I held onto last year's bag.

DD has had the Cobra XL for three years and is finally breaking down. Removable name plate has ripped and the top pocket has busted out. I noticed one of the plastic wheel frames has cracked but it still rolls with no issues. Part of the black has faded but the main bag has held up well. I will definitely purchase another one which will get her through 3 more years of travel and HS.

Red and navy....if interested you'd only need to replace the front plaqard to have re-embroidered

Hmm...Maybe something changed in their materials or construction in the last 4 years.

My understanding is that our organization is switching bag manufacturers.

It's over 4 years old now.... I bought it her freshman year of HS and now she's a freshman in college.... collecting dust in the garage
