I'm starting to look into batters elbow guards. Do any of your daughter's wear them when theyre batting? What brands are good? Does anyone else use the lacrosse style ones? What did you think?

Yes. The evo shield molded guard. Dd has had the same one for like 3 years now. Get it and practice getting hit by pitches in the elbow guard. If she gets pretty good at it, it is a quality offensive weapon against the high inside pitch.
EVO shield is great. If your DD doesn't like the fit or when her arms get bigger, it's adjustable just by putting it into the microwave again.
My DD always wears hers, except once this weekend she forgot. And wouldn't you know it, she got plucked...
