Had a friend text me about some Fastpitch bats at a really good price from a company I have not heard of or seen before. juniortennisambassadors.com Anybody heard of them or bought from them? When you see a 2016 L/S Xeno plus 33/23 for $147.90 it makes me suspicious? Hmmmm.......

I've never heard of that source. A large number of DFP'ers buy from CoreSoftball20. Core (Todd) is a legit bat dealer (LS, Demarini, Easton...) with prices that are as good - or better - than you will find anywhere WITH a full manufacturer's warranty. Most often, "too good to be true" prices are really too good to be true.

What I have found with bogus sites is that their pricing for different bats make no sense.

An aluminum bat will cost $150, same a Xeno.

So look at different bats and see if their pricing makes sense.

Buy a bat through a website that is registered to someone in China? Yeah, go for it!

Just read this page and come to your own conclusion:

Short answer......NO

Longer answer.....This site is clearly straight outta china. Of course the pricing is way too good to be be true...but a couple other things that stand out.....

1.Domain name - if you are setting up a bat store...why would you call it juniortennisambassadors
2.whois - a quick whois search show the domain registered to Weijie Gao in China

People need to stop trying to get something for nothing, that's what gets people scammed. In your head you know you're not getting a 16 LXT for 147. You already know something is up.

Sites are VERY easy to tell.

First and easiest, if there is no phone number to contact, AVOID them. Most scam sites only will have a click here
to contact and it just pops up an email. You will never get in touch with them.

Second, like some have said, where its based out of and how the wording is. If there are many spelling/grammar mistakes,
usually not legit. Means its outside the US.

Third, Manufacturers would be on this site in a hurry if it was legit...plain and simple.

Last but not least, links to the first thing I said. If its too good to be true, probably IS!!!

Not to mention that the copy on the bats is pulled directly from a different website:

Buyer beware. Revel in your savings until the bat graphics begin to run when it rains and the "manufacturer" can't stop laughing when you contact them about whether it's covered under "their" warranty!
