Umps may not catch it during bat check, but if your DD uses it and hits a dinger, a good opposing coach may notice it and bring it to the umps attention...
Saw one in a USSSA tourney last weekend. Somehow missed it first time through the lineup, but had the ump pull it before she got in the box next time around.
It also depends how strong USSSA is in your neck of the woods. This side of the state line it's almost nonexistent. Yet 20 miles away across the line in the next state over, it's huge. The umps over there check every bat, every at bat, every time. Doesn't matter if you've been up 17 times in a game, they're checking.
Also, most umps in our area work more than one association and are NFHS since we shut down for HS season so the answer is yes, they will know and I'm not talking about just the two states. I'd bet that within our state and the 7 surrounding states they'd be tossed in a heartbeat.
About the only place you might get away with it would be rec league.
