Re-issue Easton SSR3B coming soon...

I just saw on Facebook that Easton is re-issuing the SSR3B as a limited release 2016 model (Stealth -10 Retro). They said it will have the same specs as the original. Interesting indeed! I won't be buying anymore bats but I'm curious to hear what happens.

I'm going to wait until everybody buys them and then sells them because they're "not as hot as the original". Then in a a couple of years the ones I buy for $100 will be bringing $300! Lol! Wonder if this had anything to do with the voluntary removal of the older bats from the approved list?

I know I sell bats and shouldn't say things like this, but if you really think this is gonna be the same bat as the og, I have a
bridge for sale as well...haha.

My DD really likes her Miken Freak and I am still pissed at Easton for "volunteering" to have the SCN1B removed from the approved bat list....

Reissue is another meaning for "taking an existing bat and repainting it to look like an older bat"

In slowpitch, its also called "exclusives"...haha

So your saying this will be the same as the 2015 MAKO that was just on sale only with retro paint?

I don't think it will be a Mako. I believe it will be FS1's. Mako uses the newer Thermo composite technology (TCT) opposed to the FS1 Carbon nanotube technology(CNT).

According to the NCAA approved bat list Easton is also going to have the Stealth Flex in a -8 thru -11 along with the Retro. They are also listing a Torq version in the flex model in a -9 and -10
