Ok, I have finally reached my limit with these cheap hitting tees. I've even made my own with similar results. They just don't last very long.

Are the Tanner Tees worth the money or if not, which tee would you suggest?

Made a couple similar to the tanned tee, used a heavy duty painting extension handle, rolled up some rubber gasket for the top, thousands of hits on them over the last 2 yrs, only thing that ever needs replacing is the rubber gasket.

Looking at a Muhltech Tee vs the Tanner, anyone here have any experience with it? I like the extended arm and the outside barrier to reinforce proper technique but that may not be a big deal as the kids have gotten older.

I have one and the outside arm is only good if they are really casting...We never use it. If they have a big upper cut the Muhltech is great. Also, if you leave it in a hot garage, it starts to bend forward because it's not as rigid. I do use my homemade Tanner Tee more as DD has a much better swing now and it doesn't lean lol. I don't use the tee much at all though these days but they are both good.

Interesting, thanks iM...that's kinda what I thought about the outside barrier and preventing the casting motion. Our old Schutt tee is like the leaning tower of Pisa so I'm not keen on a repeat performance of that. Seems easy enough to make a homemade version of the Tanner if I can find the right thickness rubber/gasket material.
