About a year ago I sold DD's 32" Stealth so she wouldn't be tempted to go to it when I wanted her to move to the 33" bat. After almost 2 years of searching, one of the last NIW Stealths in 33/23 was delivered to the house today. No I didn't spend 500-700 on it. I almost don't want her to use it and wonder if she will hit it better than her Mako or Xeno. Oh well, I'm off the hook for selling the other one.

I love the old Stealth and Synergy bats that are still approved by ASA! I stopped buying new bats (sorry Coresoftball20) and started buying "old school"....

I'm impressed, what next a unicorn or a NIW Phenix? I want to know the story behind this acquisition!

Argh! I noticed I spelled ACQUIRE wrong in the subject. Fat fingers and you can't edit the subject.

The story.....
Ok, I'm looking at NJ.com the local team and coach bashing website for NJ fast pitch softball and a guy posts it for sale. I say sold and send him a check and a new Easton Purple stealth arrives in the mail. He purchased 5 for his DD who now plays for a team that is LS only. He had one left that wasn't used so he unloaded it. I feel vindicated for not spending the exorbitant amounts asked for on EBay. DD hit with it tonight with less than stellar results. It doesn't have the pop that the Xeno has or for that matter her old Catalyst cage bat has but it's brand new and from my recollection will take a couple of months of hitting to break in. I expect this bat to be hot by the time she goes to Huntington Beach in November.

I saw that bat for sale, just a hair too late...or it would have been in my DD's bag right now! Glad another DFP member got it, at least.

Maybe we need to revisit if riseballs do actually rise? :)

After missing out on a couple because I didn't pull the trigger right away, I jumped all over this one. We'll see what happens with it.

I decided to stop by my local Boomerang sporting goods store to see if they had anything exciting and while there was nothing appealing in my DD's size they do have a used Stealth Speed 32/22 in pretty good condition for $50. Anyone interested?

^^^^^^ First batch too. You can tell by the lighter purple coloring. Supposedly hotter of the batches.

Buy it and resell it for double or even 3-4X as much on eBay. If that was a 33/23 I'd be all over it.
