Very slight "rattle" in 2015 Xeno?

I am looking for help determining how serious the "rattle" is in DD's 2015 Xeno. Last night during our evening soft toss DD noticed a very slight noise with her Xeno. It sounds like a tiny piece of something came loose inside the bat. Whatever it is travels the length of the bat - but like I said it is very small because you really have to listen to hear it. Would something this slight disqualify the bat from competition? Should we be concerned and send it in to LS at this point or wait to see if it gets worse? The bat is just a little shy of 5 months old...

No idea how much of a j-rear the ump is, but all that is, is more than likely a piece of glue that came off from
the endcap part and moving around. Especially if you said its barely noticeable.

ASA Rule 3-1-A1. The official bat, made up of the knob, handle, grip, taper, barrel, and end cap shall be free of burrs, dents. cracks, sharp edges, rattles, and show no signs of excessive wear.....

Any rattle will cause the bat to be removed from the game.

That's what it sounds like to me. I don't notice any change to the sound of the bat at contact and she is hitting plenty of dingers with it so I'm not especially worried. Of course DD is freaking out. I guess we will see if Blue says anything and/or if it gets louder. Worse case scenario we send it back to Xeno and get a shiny new 2016...

Had blue get all in a bunch at a USSSA tournament because he caught one of my players with a 2007 Stealth (no thumbprint). He gave me a 1st warning and explained that USSSA takes this very seriously and he inspects the bats very carefully. He did not appreciate when I apologized profusely and then suggested that he should take that slacker of an umpire from our 9:30 game who did the inspection to task for missing it. Not sure if he had a stern conversation with himself or not. :)

At 10, 12 and 14s we seemed to play all season long without any bat inspections and then when we got to the alphabet nationals they were looking and shaking, made DD take her little inverted cone that sits above the knob off. "Might come off during the game." Sheet, I had to use pliers to put it on, this sucker ain't coming off. Had to borrow pliers to get it off.

Problem is, many umps have no clue about equipment but think they do.

And some rules are just complete BS. Like the Knobcuff Insidepitch talked about, give me a break. I had an ASA ump tell me my warmup
bat could not be used to loosen up because it wasn't ASA "endorsed". I use a dirk weighted bat...the thing is one piece with a weight
you can screw up and down to make lighter or heavier. How is this unsafe...oh wait, they didn't pay ASA to have them ok it...haha
