my 9yo had a 2015 xeno that she used for most of the summer, it developed a rattle on the weekend of the final tournament of the year. (wouldn't rattle when you shook it, but if you hit it against your hand you could hear and feel something loose inside).

was replaced under warranty with a 2016. we got back from vacation, went to break it in last night, she was hitting soft toss 11" softballs......

after about 20 swings, same issue with the new one.

waiting on a call back from LS CS now. are these bats actually any good? the first one was great until it broke. lots of pop. this second one didn't even get partially broken in. how many do i need to own to be sure she has something to get through an entire season?

she's 9 years old and it is a 31 20. not like she is some huge college kid. very disappointed.

Sorry to hear you are having problems. My DD has used Xeno's for years and we have had good luck with their CS whenever a replacement was needed.

I have only heard good things about LS CS. (I have never needed to talk to them because DD's Xeno was great!)

No facts to support my opinion but the bigger the drop the less durable the bat is.

My kid has 2 lxt's that are I think 4 months old. Both have a clicking feel when hitting. It doesn't seem to effect anything and you can't make it rattle or click when shaking so she is just going to live with it.

if you hit it on the palm of your hand can you hear it? you can feel it as well. her first one lost a ton of pop when it started making the noise. the second one I can't say as it isn't broken in and she never actually hit any balls with it aside from the soft toss.

Pretty much sold out of most weights of the 2016 LS and I dont have any bad feedback.

Also, just because a bat rattles, doesnt mean something is broke. Could be a piece of glue that come off from
around the endcap. And yes, they will click as well at some point at the connection.
Tough to say as I cant really know what type of sound you mean to say what it is.

I will say, not one SP bat I own that has been swung a more than a couple times doesnt have some sort of sand
or pebble type sound to it.

We have a couple of 2016s and they've been fine so far. They are really new, though, and I doubt they have over 1,000 hits on them yet.

Our 2015s have thousands of hits and only one return which was a dubious one, at that. It happened to be a -11 bat, as well.

If the bat still has some "pop" and the umpires are not throwing it out after inspection, I would continue using it and would not return it until the warranty was about to expire or the umpires changed their minds and removed it from tournament play.

Had my DD LXT develop the same problem last month. In all the years dealing with LS I never had a
problem UNTIL NOW> Filled out an online warranty claim and heard nothing for a week. I called and left voicemail
several times-still no response. Finally, I called Wilson Sports CS and they picked up on my first call, opened a case #
and someone from LS called within 2 hours. Be advised, they are moving the call center to Chicago next week therefore
LS service is not what it used to be. Maybe since Wilson acquired them, they do not care as much-who knows?
Your best bet is to contact Wilson if LS gives no response
