Default What is in your DD's Softball Bag....

I make my DD (and her teammates and anyone else who plays for me) carry their own equipment. Therefore I do not regularly pick up her bag.

Today I did and it was HEAVY so I cleaned it out. I found the following:

    - Three bats (one of which I haven't seen for a year)
    - Her Glove
    - Two batting helmets (not sure why)
    - 2 pairs of cleats
    - 5 odd batting gloves none of which she wears
    - the pair of batting gloves she occasionally wears when she remembers
    - 6 visors
    - Eye black
    - A Gatorade
    - 2 bottles of water
    - 2 empty bottles of water
    - 50-60 sunflower seeds
    - 4 empty sunflower seed packets
    - a beach towel
    - Sports goggles (which she wont wear)
    - 4 softballs
    - $5.30 in change
    - 4 $1 bills
    - 2 pencils, 3 pens, 1 sharpie
    - sunscreen/moisturizer
    - 2 boxes of Tough Strip bandaids
    - random paper trash

I am glad she is not a catcher.

    Bag much lighter now.

    How is your DD doing?

I cleaned her bag out last week, so this is from memory:
    - 3 bats
    - 1 pair of batting gloves
    - 1 single mis-matched batting glove
    - Her Glove
    - Ripit Mask
    - Extra Ripit Mask chin pad
    - Sunscreen
    - Lip balm
    - Team sweat shirt
    - gauze wrap (They use it to make a head band?)
    - zip lock bag of bandaides and neosporene
    - cleats
    - 1 pair of stinky dirty socks
    - slides (a form of flip flops)
    - rosin bag
    - various head bands and hair ties
    - Empty sunglasses case
    - Softball

Mine travels light...1 bat, glove, face mask, 1 pair of batting gloves, sunglasses, and a couple of hair ties.

I'm too afraid to check. Knowing my DD there will be a half eaten banana in there. From last fall.

I'm in her bag fairly often & most recently I found:

    - 2 bats
    - glove
    - catcher's mitt
    - helmet
    - facemask
    - catcher's gear & helmet
    - 4 balls
    - 3 tcb balls
    - batting gloves
    - 2 different types of heart guards
    - sunglasses (only sometimes in there)
    - loose sunflower seeds
    - 2 empty water bottles
    - 1 empty powerade bottle
    - several empty candy wrappers from where the coach gave them candy after practice the other night

catcher's gear hasn't been used since April, so I'm afraid of what might be under it in the bag

We just got new team bags, so right now....it's empty!!

But when we emptied out the old one after fall-ball, there were 7 water bottles and a whole bunch of pieces of pretty colored pre-wrap (yes, hair bandanas). Along with a Rip-it mask without a chin piece (hasn't worn it in over a year). 5 batting gloves, 2 which matched. A bunch of protein bar wrappers. Of course, 2 gloves, 2 bats, and a few balls.
