    2004 rockettech

i recently bought a 04 rockettech for my daughter on ebay & the ad said it needed new pins. I am not familiar with these bats. I see near the endcap , 4 small holes, but they dont look like they have pins in them. any help out there??? Thanks Lane

You are right. They are the pins in the end cap. Anderson fixed that problem, with later bats.

Call Anderson customer service. They are really good.

Some people used Liquid Nail, but I doubt if the bat is actually legal w/o the pins.

All those are are small diameter roll pins. If you can get someone to measure the hole for you, any good Ace Hardware should have a stock of roll pins you can get replacements from. Just tap them into place and if any is left sticking out, trim it off and file it down.

Thanks Comp- Thats what I needed to know. It looks to me like those pins hold the plug in the end of the bat in??? On my bat, I can see the holes in the aluminum part of the bat, but they arent lined up with any holes in the part behind. I am assuming the plug in the end of the bat is turned from its origonal position. Maybe I can drill through the plug & insert the roll pins.
