We have a niece playing PGF tourney in San Diego and they just text us that they pulled all cf9's from game play. Anyone heard this yet?

Failed compression testing. Said they were too hot.

We haven't gone over yet and I don't think we have any but I'll ask around when we do. Dang could I shorten that anymore. I was complaining about this and was told they had some hot bats last year. Do I know for sur, nope.

I see 2 problems.
1. CF9's are not listed on ASA's Non-Linear Bat list - Non Linear Bat Compression Thresholds.
2. PGF doesn't use ASA's threshholds and has a minimum of 1400 psi for non-linear bats - http://www.premiergirlsfastpitch.com/doclib/PGF_BatTestingProtocol.pdf.

A high failure rate I could believe, a 100% failure rate not a chance. They are using the wrong settings or threshold for the bat. Just one more example of why it is a major problem when every rule set wants their own rules and standards. I have heard nothing about bat problems at any of the other organizations nationals.
