Hi...I was interested in knowing if anyone knows how much "Elite" level travel ball organizations fees are??...ex. (Birmingham Thunderbolts,Tx Glory, OC bat buster, etc..etc..)

I know fees varies from team to team and a normal "A" / "B" class team are around $1000 - $1500....and includes showcase tournaments, uniforms, etc....

Was interested in knowing what are the fees for elite travel organizations that fly to top level tournaments and play.

Thanks in advance for your knowledge...it's greatly appreciated!!!

I can tell you that most of the ones that travel to many showcases by plane and tried to recruit my DD were between $10,000 and up. That included 3 uniforms, bat bags, batting helmets, flights, hotel stays, outdoor fields, indoor facilities, coaching, etc. etc. These teams always play the top showcases around the country and cater to the top 25 D1 teams. I guess you get what you pay for.

The very top teams have sponsors and fees are little or nothing. The $10,000 must come from an organization that charges lower teams absurd amounts of money to feed into their top team.

That what I was thinking MN Dad.....most elite travel organization have big sponsors like Mizuno and many others.....that would reduce the fees to around normal....but u have to be an elite player or have elite parents to be invited to join such high level organization .....

But I have no real factual knowledge on this topic ...so I could be completely wrong on my thoughts that why I'm posting asking for knowledge...

Thanks to all who's replying...I appreciate it

Mizuno provides uniforms, cleats, and good discount on bats/gloves. The way to go (lol) are bazillionaire private type sponsors.

I have to laugh when I hear about a TB parents trying to pick a team based on the team fees. For most top level TB teams, the team fees are 10-20% of the "all in" costs when you consider batting lessons, pitching lessons, bats, gloves, travel expenses, hotels, air flights, rental cars, ect.

I absolutely agree! Truth be told, this was the price quoted me as a second year 14U player. What they actually charge for the older age groups I couldn't tell you. By the same token, we had a local player that's a starter for Tennessee play for them as a sub during her 16U season and her parents shelled out over 3 grand for her to play for this team. They also took out second mortgage on their house for her to play in Africa on the JO team so that th e y could go watch her . Again, I guess you get what you pay for since she got a full ride to Tennessee.

She must be smart and getting some academic money, because with as many girls at Tennessee has on their roster I would be surprised if any of them have full athletic scholarships.
