My DD plays TB in the New England area. Every season, my parents travel from Ohio to watch her play in a local tournament and usually meet us at Nationals down south. Her Papa played men's FP for over 20 years for many Ohio teams and loves to watch her play.

This February he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, with about 12 months, and no cure. He's starting his 6th round of chemo this week, and has been unable to travel or see her play. It's unlikely that he will ever get to see her play again...

...unless we can bring DD to him. This coming weekend is the GREAT LAKES PREMIER SHOWCASE near Cleveland.
We've tried to work through the tourney director with no luck yet.

If anyone is going to this tourney and would be willing to pick DD up, even if for only 1 game, I can't even explain in words what it would mean to our family.

DD's a 14U (moving to showcase in fall) and plays for a top RI club, so she wouldn't be a liability to any team. She plays IF and OF. And I know DD'd give every once of her heart for anyone she got to play for.
