Good luck to all the GA softball players with HS tryouts this week!

A lot of GA schools moved tryouts to the Spring since so many girls are still playing TB late July, early August.

The coach will do a special tryout for any girls that move into the district. There were 26 girls at tryouts last night, so they will not cut many, if any. Last year they cut two girls who the coach thought would get hurt if they played. We have had seniors who played JV in the past, so if a girls is willing to play JV there is a spot for her on the team.

I am not an expert on GHSA rules, but we had a senior pitch some JV games last season. She was not dominate, so no one complained!
