So, my ultra competitive DD asked a question that I really don't know the decorum answer to. If she hits a pop up into the outfield, is it bad sportsmanship for her to scream "ball" or "mine" in efforts of distracting the fielder? I know that in basketball, this sort of thing was not frowned upon (back when I played 20 years ago at least). So, is that something that's considered taboo?

And THIS is why I love DFP. I advised my DD that it doesn't sound like something allowed, so don't do it unless I hear otherwise.

There was a pop up in the infield that he got behind the shortstop fielding it and waved his arms and screamed to distract him. He has also had an incident where he tried to knock the ball out of the first baseman's mitt. Just generally bad sportsmanship.
