Anyone else losing there mind because of all this damn rain that's been coming through? I have enjoyed watching College softball but its not the same as being on the field.

Since tomorrow is our first game we are meeting tonight in a conference room. Anyone know any good drills to do in a conference room?

Well considering we're smack dab in the middle of one of the worst droughts on record out here in CA, we'd much appreciate it if you could redirect some of that rain out here. Even if that did mean missing a bit of softball due to weather now and then.

Hm. Getting a lot of rain here, but at least not much in the way of flooding or tornadoes. Missed practices, missed chances of practicing pitching. First tournament is next weekend, hoping it doesn't get rained out.

As for you folks in Cali, you do realize that about 1000 years ago, there was a drought that lasted over 200 years? You might just be getting started...

If Californian's were smart, they would be investing a lot of money into developing desalinization technology.....

Sometimes I wonder why it is the worse things get in Cali the stupider the people running the place get.
I mean, the same people. I've read articles in which people took quotes of the big name politicians in Cali from a few decades ago and compared it to what the same people are saying now about the same things. Much stupider now.

There I fixed it. There is actually a plant in Santa Barbara that was built during the last big drought...then the rains came and it was never used, it is being activated now. Also one coming online in Carlsbad.

Yes, we feel your pain. More on lines of finding time to practice...we missed first TB practice (summer season) due to HS Softball banquet. Been watching forecast for tomorrow's practice...so far so good...but pretty sure fields will be dripping wet (10.5 inches in 7 hour period nucking futs!!). Think coaches will meet anyway for pitching/hitting practice...first "shake off rust" round robin this weekend. We shall see. :) I am just tired of seeing the rain chances being 60% and higher every.single.damned.day.
