Hello everyone. I came across this site a few weeks ago and because of the awesome content I decided to join. My DD is a 3rd year 10u player who is not a phenomenal athlete but can play every position very well with catcher being the exception. She currently plays on a mid level travel team and is going to do rec ball for this spring to get a chance to follow her pitching dream ( she was stuck as the 4 pitcher on a very good team that made it all the way to 3rd in NJ state LL) . I'm looking for a good software program/app that I can use to record both hitting and pitching to show her whats shes doing while pitching and hitting and what she needs to work on because shes a more visual. Looking forward to being part of the community here. Thanks in advance.

In my opinion, Coaches Eye is probably the best video app for analyzing video on an android device. Ubersense was designed for Apple devices, but has since ported their app to Android. But I feel it works better on Apple and Coaches Eye is better on Android.

Are you wanting to record small segments at practice or at games? If games, I would suggest looking into GoPro cameras, or even Sony ActionCam. The both shoot wide angle, and when mounted to the fence will let them record the entire field.

Thanks! I will definitely try both being that I use and Iphone and my DD the larger tablet. We just want to use it for short clips right now to work with her pitching and hitting. The go pro would be nice down the road someday since I could use it on my boat also. However getting the DW to go along with that would be hard!
