what does your DD do after games?

DD on the left (catcher) and her pitcher on the right, after games this past Saturday. Even though it was a slow night, the girls had a blast just power eating sweets and floating around. I think they fished for a combined 10 minutes, lol. Its always fun watching these girls interact outside the diamond

Yeah. We live less than 10 miles from there in Fountain Valley

Ummm....not sure....but after her next game I think I want to visit Orange County California.

Did you guys get the bay bass or halibuts?

Spotted Bay Bass is the targeted species but it's saltwater fishing, you never know what your going to catch. On this particular outing we caught about 6 spotties and a sand bass, overall a slow night. In my time fishing the harbor for spotties I've caught halibut up to 15lbs, juvenile white sea bass, yellowfin Crocker, spotfin croacker, barracudas, smoothound sharks, leopard sharks, midshipmen, sculpin, corbina, sargo and a few other species I can't remember off the top of my head right now. That's why I love saltwater fishing, you never know what your next cast will catch. It's also almost automatic that the girls will catch something. Usually DD is a bit more focused on fishing but this time out she just wanted to goof off with her friend which was more fun for me to watch then actually catching fish.

What activities outside softball and sports in general do you guys share with your DDs? Feel free to
post pics if you got them

My DD and I will go for a short run together in the off season. She usually is winded after a mile so we keep them short. We also do Zumba on the Wii at night but that's mostly to try to get her out of looking like Elaine Bennis from Seinfeld when she dances.

Sleep, mission trips to foreign countries and teach at local church.
