Only 40% positive reviews at rottentomatoes. Not so good. But I'm sure it's unintentionally hilarious, so there's that. As for my DD, I'll have her watch the Neil de Grasse Tyson hosted show "Cosmos" rather than this sappy piece of cinema treacle, but that's just me.

I'm skeptical of all of these "Heaven" visits. But I'm sure they turn a good profit.
Well with all the crap Hollywood turns out for movies by actors that want to push their, let's say for a lack of better words freedom taken, socialist views. The same actors that want to limit our freedoms, make money running around shooting people in their movies, then tell us that we should get rid of the amendment between the 1st & 3rd. Then also leave out the name of the most important person in the movie Noah! I'm sure they make a good profit on those movies. So maybe, just maybe it would be nice to know that there is something bigger then us down here on earth, no matter what god you believe in.

A little boy who happens to be the son of a preacher, has an accident and is pronounced dead. After resuscitation he comes back claiming to have seen Heaven. His dad the preacher, has a hard time with it because it goes against Biblical teaching.

First time I've heard of this movie. But something sort of like this happened to me as a child. I'm just sharing because it seems relevant to the movie experience. When I was about 5 years old I fell down a flight of stairs and apparently hit my head and was knocked out. During that time I remember watching from above (like in all those movies) as my mom & dad were over me, i was in my moms lap lying down with my eyes closed and she was rubbing my head gently and my dad was watching. They were in a very specific part of the house near a window. The next thing I knew I woke up in my bed not really knowing what happened after the fall. Years later when I got older I asked my mom about that incident. She remembers it exactly as I described when I was "watching" from above. Obviously I didn't die... nor did she think I was dead... but it was just a weird out of body experiences that I never forgot.

Thanks for the info. I am familiar with the book. I didn't know about the movie.

My son's wife was making fun of him, yesterday, on Facebook - because he hadn't seen Goonies, etc. I wrote back that he was an athlete and we didn't spend much time in front of a tv. :)

Thanks.
I believe "WE" are not this body we walk around in.

They say it is a true story.
Like fastpitch said, somethings in your life you cant explain.
I am an all kind of movie buff. Will watch it but might wait until it hits dish network and the movie channels I have.
