But, a girl I knew had the same home to 1st time and played pro ball. Yes, that is very good.

Of course, you have to be able to hit the ball first.

hmmm.. I've never heard of ANY player that had 2.3.

2.6/2.7, but 2.3 almost seems unreal. Is there any player that actually has a true 2.4? Heard that too, but I don't know of anyone.
BUT IF 2.3, then thats OUTSTANDING.

I"m told Julie Smith was 2.4 from the right side. Yeah if someone is 2.3 they are D1 material.

this was a hypothetical question but my coaches start time when you first run (your first step)
If you think think that 2.3 is "unreal" than you're going to think I'm crazy because my goal is for 2 seconds... FLAT!

Mark - good question: used to go from Contact to 1st.... (we'd pitch so they would swing and clock starts On Contact. we didn't like the Empty Swing), NOW we use 1st Step after contact. AS long as Colleges are all using 1st Step and I believe most are today?

Larry Ray just times them all the same way, in the lefty side of the box at start, then "go." He doesn't do anything special. In fact he doesn't really use a clock. He said you are either fast or your not.

He was asked "How fast is fast?" and he said 2.5, 2.6 is realistic.

Realistically, the fastest men in the world aren't running 60 feet, as fast as some girls claim that they are.

Thanks for the reply Amy way back scientists and everyone said that running a mile in 4 minutes was impossible for the human body and that one would collapse and die before completing this task..but this record has been broken more than once and they all lived.
