Thread: "It was construction"

Brought to you by the same kid who gave us "my knuckeball actually knucked"......

Saturday my speedy 10u daughter got thrown out stealing second - which for her is extremely rare. I actually thought she slid under the tag and got a bad call. So between innings I asked her what happened and she said "it was construction!"

"Construction what?"

She then explains to me that the second baseman was standing in her path on her way to second (which I didn't see).

My assistant coach Kelsey was listening to the conversation didn't miss a beat she said "yea construction - she threw up a road block!"

Just another reason I love coaching 10u!

She knows a lot more than the parents and coaches that would have been yelling "interference!"
