Nice job!! Are you going to clear over it? You can use a satin/matte clear coat if you like the matte finish? If not I will be interested to see how it holds up with no protective coat? Looks good and welcome to the world of painting and creativity
That grey look is from the clear having tiny bubbles. (been there ) If you want them gone, wait 48 hrs for clear to harden and then wet sand with 600-800 grit. Be careful not to sand through the color coat. Then shake the SNOT out of the can for a good minute or two. Then lay down a tack coat, wait 4-5 minutes then a wet coat. You will like the results!
