My DD has had hers for about 5 months now. When she first got it she complained about the mask being further away from her face but now she is comfortable with it. Their warranty is top notch, one of the smaller pads came unglued so I called them and they had me email them pictures and they sent me a new one and told me to keep the old one. They even recommend gorilla glue to glue the pad back on so she can continue using it. I left the new on in the box and she is still using the one that I glued the pad back on.

In addition to the Wilson FX2.0, I also like the design of the All-Star helmets. Most helmets have 2 cage mounts near the center of the top bar. This will transfer energy from a hit pretty directly into the shell. All-Star does not have those mounts on their helmets, and the side mounts have a rubber washer/spacer between the cage and shell allowing a little give and absorption on impact. Additionally, the energy is transferred much further back on the shell instead of right at the forehead.

Either the Wilson or the All-Star will be my choice when it's time to upgrade my DD's helmet at the end of this season.

Overall, Easton's catcher gear - legs, chest, and helmet - is pretty low on my list.

Back on the dirt...
We have the 2.0 helmet, chest protector, and legs. The helmet does seem large but it's not heavy. Fits fairly comfortably and doesn't move around. Both sides of the "shock" system do not really move well but it still has more give than any other mask I've seen. The chest protector runs a little small. Had to get the 14.5 for my 9yr old. The legs feel light and are breathable with an extra pad inside.

It looks sharp too. Dd likes it now that she's used it.

DD tried it on the Wilson in the store and it felt heavy to her. We went with the All Star MVP2500, which she feels provides great visibility to boot.

Sorry not much info on the Wilson but agree with others about the All-star helmet and gear. Both my DD and DS use it and have nothing but great things to say. Both have taken very hard foul balls to the cage and to our surprise no damage done to their pumpkins! I believe like Eric said it is very well constructed. I would highly recommend this over any other helmet on the market!

I think you'll find some other good threads on the mask if you do a search. DD uses the Wilson and really likes it. Some have mentioned the weight and at the same time my DD says it's a more comfortable fit which is a double bonus.

As always, I think the best option is to just swallow the return shipping costs and order a couple good ones to try on.

I'd really recommend that you take a look at the Wilson shin guards. DD just raves about how those fit and feel. The padding is excellent quality as well.

My daughter has an All Star and has taken some hard shots over the last two years and her coconut is just fine. She thought it sat too high on her head when she first got it and it looked funny but it looks and feels fine to her now and does the job. Very good product. Old saying if you have a $5 dollar head wear a $5 dollar helmet. Well worth the $

What model is she using? Matching brands to the helmet isn't a huge concern. Sorry for the thread derail.
