Do any 'baseball' model catchers mitts have a pocket/size suitable for catching a 12" softball? (some bb gloves are perfect for sb, even more so than baseball)

Looking for a higher quality, no-velcro mitt.

As far as fp mitts go, the Worth Liberty is on the short list, but that's about all I can find. I refuse to accept velcro on high end leather shoes, gloves, or mitts, so let's talk baseball mitts and see if any fit the bill. Perhaps some of the 34's?

Thanks!

Is this for you or your daughter? The reason I ask is because the finger stalls and the palm area of a baseball catchers mitt will probably be way too big for your daughter.

I was also going to say the All-Star CM3000KM knuckle ball mitt but it does have velcro. But its a great value at $129.95
Marucci Founders Series 35", expensive @ $349.99.
Vinci FC1990-L 35", contact Casedawg.
Easton Professional EPG251WB 34.5"
Rawlings has several 34" Heart of the Hide mitts.

Any experience with the ball size vs mitt size with these? With some bb catcher's mitts, a 12" softball looks like a basketball stuffed in it.

On the other hand ;)...DD's fielder's glove is a baseball model, advertised as such anyway. The pocket/web is perfect for a 12" softball but IMO would be WAY too big for baseballs.

No sir I don't. As I was saying yesterday, the All Star I just bought is smaller than I like but I'm going to make it work.
I know BB mitts are designed more shallow then FP mitts but I would have to think a 35" mitt would work with a 12"
ball but I could be wrong. With the research I've done and the gloves I've used before buying the All Star the perfect
mitt would be a Rawlings Heart of the Hide mitt made out of horween leather. No velcro, 34", H-web designed
just for fastpitch. Of course this mitt doesn't exist, if it did I would already own it.
