DD's Sophomore year.

Today was the HS teams first practice and DD a Junior, was named Co-Captain. In the last two years only Seniors have been Captains so I'm guessing the coach felt she earned it.

Life would be so much easier if I had 12 southpaws on my team and didn't have to buy specialized gear for those not in their right mind.

2 daughters (11 and 7) and 2 catchers... one a righty , one a lefty... good to see some older girls on here that are lefties and still catch.

First inning caught this spring. I told her Coach Eric had already said she needed to protect her hand better and was like 'who?' I told her remember the girl from SoCal from the NECC two summers ago.... her coach from that year. 'Oh!!' she went.

Life is good.... her and another girl weren't happy they only got one inning behind the dish last night.

First games of the season

Saturday was spent at the ball fields, in the sunshine

I was very proud of my mini me...not only was it her first 12u game (she is 10 and playing up) but she played with a 101.4 fever because she refused to miss her first games. Today was a rain out so we stayed home and just watched movies, snuggled up with the dogs

Also if anyone knows where to get decent softball pants in small sizes that are fitted, please let me know. The pants she is wearing are a youth medium and are huge on her but the youth small are too short.

I didn't get too many pictures of her but these are what we were emailed.
