    Default Little League Catchers helmets

    Just sitting here watching the LL World Series and noticed that both the catchers have throat guards attached to their helmets even though they are the hockey style . Is the throat guard a requirement in LL ?

    I noticed it watching the boys play to.
    They also don't seem to require facemasks either.
