Great weekend pitching in18u gold

My dd is playing 16u gold which is a big step up for her from 14u b. I just wanted to brag on her a little bit! Last weekend she pitched against 18u teams and did well. Struggled her 1st game against an older 18u gold team but after that did very well. She is throwing her riseball very well and got 2 strikeouts and a # of pop ups with it. She has just started to throw it in games regularly her last tournament so we are proud to see it working so well! She also kept a very good team with no runs through 2 innings which was an accomplishment because the other pitcher came in and gave up back to back homeruns right away. Oh and she almost had her 1st over the fence homerun, hit the top of the fence. It was a good weekend!
