Little League World Champions

Our local Little League just accomplished the unimaginable and were crowned World Champions yesterday in Williamsport, PA.

WORLD CHAMPS! M-E wins Little League championship

Yes, it's baseball; but this victory is the culmination of decades of a strong Little League Board presiding over baseball and softball,
and the continual support of the parents, coaches, and larger community that keep our youth interested in, and having fun in, the sport.

That is awesome. I am from the town last Mid-Atlantic team to win it all, Toms River. They were able to repeat as region champs but lost before the championship the second year.
A source of pride for sure.

It was nice to see a NY team. I drove through that area many times going to school in Buffalo fro the Hudson Valley.

The Maine Endwell girls HS softball team won the NYS Class A High School Championship this year too. Their coach is Matt Raliegh the dad of the the 3rd baseman on the LL team. ��

Congrats!!! I was at the gym working out and they had it on one of the big screens. I couldn't leave until it was over! I actually cheered. Lol!!

That's great and so much fun for the area cheering on their team! Our league won the title 20+ years ago and it makes a lasting impact.

We are also lucky to host the Jr Softball WS and thou not as big a deal as the LLBWS it's fun to see them battle it out every year.

I saw the game with my DD and DW, while in a cruise. It was a great game and we enjoyed it. Pitching was spectacular. Congrats!
