The best part of PGF when your team is under performing...

So far we have played 4 games and our team has scored 2 runs in 27 innings. We play the OC Batbusters tonight at 7pm to try to make it to Wed. Needless to say our bats have picked a bad time to go silent. On the bright side, when things are going poorly on the field, there is always the beach!

Very true. There are definitely worse places to under-perform. I've been to some of them.

Can't believe the Batbusters ended up in the loser's bracket after dropping their first game 4-0 to the Choppers. Seems like your team isn't the only one with silent bats right now.

Our team lost this morning as well...gotta win at 12:30 or go home (very) early.

We were hoping for a top-20 finish, so going 2-and-out is going to be a bitter pill to swallow if it happens...

After the summer we had, we were thinking top 8. We were top 16 last year. Nobody's hitting the ball right now.

Made it through to Wednesday. Got a very tough team tomorrow to start the day. And four wins to get to Thursday, spread out from 8AM to 7:15PM. They don't make it easy!

Lost first bracket game yesterday to Sorcerers. Did not manage a hit. Won first losers bracket game today 12-3 and just won our second game of the day, a 3-2 nail biter in ITB. So at least we made it to Wednesday.

Won another in ITB. Following on game changer is the worst. Too much drama. And then the game ended on a controversial call so game changer was frozen for what seemed like 20 minutes. Tough to score a walk off wiffed suicide squeeze attempt that leads to a pickle and an eventual play at the plate where the runner was originally called out but the call was reversed after a 5 minute umpire conference. Feel badly for the other team (but not too badly).
