If you see somebody else's DD getting a paid hitting lesson and everything they are being taught is wrong, do you intervene at the time, talk to the parent afterwards, or just mind your own business?
DD hit first HR last week and is leading her District and Section in Batting Average, Runs, and OBP! Third in SB's. After 12 games at 41 plate appearances. Also made this nice catch in a close game!

Runners on first and second, no outs. Batter hits hard shot in the LC gap. Both runner take off on contact and Left fielder makes great catch and throws ball back in to SS whom tags out runner from first base then steps on second base. Is this a triple play? Or once they touch runner from first...
In a first and third situation the runner on first steals second, running at 75%, catcher immediately throws back to pitcher in circle letting runner take 2nd base. Runner rounds 2nd base passes bag then stops and goes back to the second base bag. Field umpire stops play and calls runner out...

When you have a legit slapper that can pretty much lay down a bunt at any time slapping, and they lay down a bunt with runner on first and no outs and get put out at first base and runner on first advances, do you score it a sac bunt or an out? The batter is slapping and not squaring around to...
If a slapper gets hit by a pitch outside the box(front of box), say a changeup that would have hit her if she was still in the box, is the batter out, or is it a dead ball, or do they get a HBP and go to first?
Thanks
So my DD club team season ended, hardly any drama and we only had to drop two dads, unfortunately that meant we had to drop the two kids that belonged to them as well:( One of them made it to the day before the last game of the year, oh so close!
Mostly all the girls that swing away on DD team are having trouble hitting the outside pitch to the opposite field during games.
They can do it in practice and we do it on a regular basis. We have discussed the importance of being able to hit balls to the opposite field, but in games they...
If an outfielder run to the fence and slides to grab a ball and their foot get stuck under the fence and the ball is still in fair play and they can't reach it, the play keeps going right? Its not a dead ball situation? Runner can keep on going.
Thanks
How many of you have seen teams consisting of all verballed players that don't play in showcases in the fall, but do compete in National qualifiers and national events in spring and summer?
What is the official ruling with runners on second and third, with no outs or only one out. The batter hits a ball that will carry over the fence in center field. Center fielder catches ball air born and falls over the fence robbing the batter of a home run. Both runners tag and advance one...

They are in Tucson near you Amy. Look like the same thing with a different name.
So after seeing Ricketts gives up four hits in the eleventh inning and OU goes down 3-0 and I was Tennessee coach I would have taken Ellen out and put Ivy in for bottom of that inning. Both pitchers were tired and balls weren't breaking and they were staying over the plate. I know hind sight is...
If a batter hits a pop up and shortstop loses it in the sun and it hits ground five feet from her but she never touches it, or middle infielders think each other is going to catch the ball but neither do and it drops thats scored a hit, right?
Next scenerio if there is a runner on two less...
Runner on first base, left handed slapper slap bunts ball between pitcher and third, closer to pitcher side, corners crash and first baseman and batter collide on the baseline probably 15 ft from home. Third baseman fields ball and throws to first, umps call batter out. After an appeal by third...
So here is the scenerio:
Tie game bottom of the 7th inning home team batting, runner on third with one out. Batter hits routine ground ball to first baseman who opts to step on first base and never tries to make another play(not sure if the first baseman thought there was two outs or just was...
