Hit batter question
If a pitch hits the dirt in front of a batter, then hits the batter in the ankle or leg, is she awarded 1st base? It says in the USSSA rulebook that it doesn't matter if the ball hits the ground, but our league umpires never award 1st after the girls are HBP if it hits the ground first.- Foots

Need an opinion about 1st year FP league vs very experienced pitcher
For several years I've been coaching my daughter's slow pitch team, hoping that one day our local commission will offer fastpitch. Any kid that wants to play fastpitch has to travel to a town either 50 miles to the north, 50 miles to the east, or be on a TB team to play. Its a small town, so not...- Foots
