    I agree with coachNdad we had a high school coach who loved the power trip of calling pitches, although he didnt know a damned thing about pitching, so if he called a fast inside it becomes a screw. A fast outside becomes a curve etc...We won, the coach looked good so he was happy and he never...

    I ask coach candrea at a conference about his thoughts on a pitching machine and hes not a big fan, preferring live pitching.

    Agree with JV coach and amanda. I put my weakest OF in LF, the quickest in CF and the 2nd quickest in RF. The RF in fastpitch to me is the most important as we get a lot of quick throw outs at 1st base. It helps if you have a power pitcher so most hits go to the right side. I also play RF kind...

    That is the same problem we have, of the games weve lost this year we average giving the opponents 5 outs..

    We have a young HS team, most are freshman, none are seniors. I am an assistant coach so my say is not the final word. Our season began fair enough as we played some outstanding games and we fell apart and gave some away. We lost 4-5 games by 1 run and in each of those games we would have 3-4...
