The problem with ESPN softball
2020 being in Japan is reason enough that men's fastpitch wouldn't even be considered and possibly laughed at if the ISF even suggested it. Japan LOVES their baseball. Japan LOVES their women's softball. Men's fastpitch is not as popular for them. Not knocking men's fastpitch at all. Just saying...- cantletitgo

Should I just give it up?
Another big reason I'd like to play. I mentioned I want to give girls the opportunities I missed out on, and even if I didn't get to play, I'd like to be involved with a college softball program just for the experience. Yeah thats how i feel. I just feel dumb even emailing her about tryouts, and i think thats because she will also be teaching one of my classes this fall and I don't want her to think she is going to have this crazy softball stalker in class lol. I'm going to school to get a health and PE degree...- cantletitgo

Random but I was hoping for some opinions. I have played slowpitch softball since I was 9. I played varsity 1st base and pitcher in high school 4 years, where we made back to back state tournament appearances which was history made for the school.
