Just my two cents - I'm going to have my dd stop using GG. Too much hassle with other coaches, umps and so forth...Had an issue this weekend in an ASA rules tournament and don't want her labeled as a cheater. Ump had her stop using it in 3rd inning after strong complaints from opposing coaches...
Hi Parents - I'm the father of a 13yr old pitcher (plays mostly 12U TB). My DD is one of the more advanced pitchers in our area (especially if you compare pitchers of the same size). Velo, accuracy, awareness is up there. Here's where I'm struggling. My wife and I are not from softball families...
Again great replies -- yes, as she's gotten stronger her swing has changed and in a cage with an instructor or coach - she is solid back net hitter.

Here's the situation -- Runner on 3rd...
All -
Long time lurker. I help coach a 11U travel team and am the designated catcher for my daughter for her pitching lessons. Thus I find myself catching 11/12yr old pitchers a lot.
I need to upgrade to a real catcher glove (instead of my fielding mitt). I've been reading the threads...
