Hips rotate from opening the front hip while weight shift occurs. If your front hip isn’t closed or getting closed as your stride/weight transfer works, your hips won’t open correctly and you won’t have the proper swing sequence.
I agree with your design comment. To me, it just seems like a little to much bend. With the build quality of the Ghost bats, that bend is a little suspect.

Does this look right? I wasn’t filming with some hi speed camera, this was just my iPhone. When you play the video in slow motion, you can really see the bat bend on contact. She’s swinging a Ghost.

Like others have said, she’s swinging from the top down. Her hands are leading her body. It should be hips, core, shoulders then barrel. Trust me on this, take her hands out of her swing right now while she’s young. It only gets harder as they get older.
