I’ll be interested to see if the Ghost Advanced is softer feeling than the regular Ghost.........due to the knob on the Advanced. My daughter prefers that softer feel, which is why she likes the L/S LXT so much.
I wonder if the advanced will feel softer. I think it has some sort of ‘softer’ knob on it.........if I’m not mistaken. My DD uses the L/S LXT and likes the softer feel it has compared to Xeno and Demarini CF.
It’ll be interesting to see how the advanced Ghost and regular Ghost differ in terms of performance and feel. I’m wondering what the reasons will be to choose one over the other, independent of the relatively small price difference.
The “Closeout Bats” folks are good dudes. We are going to a tournament in New Jersey near their headquarters at end of June. They’ve got a storefront and facility for demoing bats. Several girls from my DD’s team are gonna stop there and try a few bats. My daughter wants to try the new Ghost...
Recruiters gather lots of info based on multiple games. So that they aren’t swayed by an anomaly......either a good one or a bad one. I do not believe a quality/college-level professional coach walks away thinking a kid doesn’t have what it takes to play at that school.........when In fact the...
Yeah if most of your fly balls get caught right at fence! But 14 homers hit with one bat and 16 homers with another......with a similar high batting average will not cause a coach to walk away thinking any differently. He/she will walk away thinking “great hitter” in both circumstances.
I agree that ‘believing’ in your equipment, feeling confident with it related to personal preference, etc absolutely can make a difference. Most girls I’ve come across DO have a preference for a particular bat(s) over other bats. Without a doubt, when a teenager decides they just like...
“I’d of been a D1 All-American and made the Olympic team If my parents had just bought me the right bat!” Would be an accurate statement..........oh never!!!
If you’re an elite hitter with a Ghost you’ll be an elite hitter with a Xeno, LXT, CF. You might ‘prefer’ the feel of one over the...
Wait a stealth flex?? Nah can’t be!?!? I thought all the Pre-Ghost Easton Bats were garbage!?!? Are you suggesting hitting success has more to do with the talent level and ability of the hitter rather than the bat they use?!?!? It can’t be!! LOL
The PXT was garbage. I know 4 girls ranging from 13-17 yrs old that used it for a period of time and all stopped using it because it was garbage. However, all of those girls have used and liked Demarini CF models, L/S LXT models, and Easton Ghost. On my daughter’s 14U team, the Ghost is the...
Typo. Meant to say Coming out. No.....no issue with the LXT. This new L/S RXT will be in addition to the LXT model. I just referenced that it will be dual stamped because previous Ghosts were not and this new L/S is aimed at competing with the Ghost. Which yes I know will be dual stamped...
Does anyone know anything about the new L/S RXT bat coking out in June? All I’ve heard is that it’s a dual-stamped bat designed to compete with Easton Ghost. Anyone heard anything beyond that ?
I was wondering what fastpitch organizations would be considered the best, especially for helping with getting a player college recruitment exposure, in ALL of New York State. I imagine many or most of the best are in the NYC Metro area......but I’d still like to here about ones in other parts...
I’ve got a very slightly used Demarini CFX Hope for sale, size 33/23
My DD hit about 10 balls off tee with it and then about 20 balls hit from soft toss and declared she hated it! Lol. That’s all the use the bats got, so it’s in essentially new condition with just a few marks from the approx...
I’m looking into getting one of these two bats for my DD. I can get them for essentially the same price, just over $200. Anyone have thoughts on how they compare? I’ve heard the CF9 performs better but the CFX is a little more durable?? Any thoughts appreciated.
