Speed will come but master the CU. My DD is first yr 14 and in the 12s it’s about the CU. Be able to throw CU anytime in the count. That’s more impressive than 55-58 mph. IMO

A runner can run to the fence on their way to second. Runner establishes path. Once path is set. Can't avoid tag by 3' either side of path

Relax - timed games are normally pool play NOT finals. This tactic has been done before and will continue. It's 10u.

Tell your DD to imagine her wrist is in a cast AND stay palm down throughout pitch. She wants her thumb to brush her side. This thoughts helped greatly with my DD.

Thanks for info. We are not jack of all master of none. 1 yr to master pitch has been our PC mantra. We will have 3 quality pitches as 2nd yr 12.

DD is first yr 12 and throws FB and CU. Her speed on the FB is decent and makes the CU a nice second pitch. Want to start on a movement pitch this off season. What are your thoughts? Tnx in advance

My DD first yr 12 and since moving back 35-40' and using bigger ball, consistently missing high. More walks than at 10u and always pitching with full count. Trying to diagnose: upper body faster than lower body and/or too short of finish?? Can this cause high miss?? Seeing PC soon but curious...
DD is first yr 12 and the transition from 35' & small ball has been difficult. When she's on she's great but when she's off it's bad. She has adequate speed and a CU but the confidence has taken a hit. Last outing started and walked 5 in 3 innings. No hits and trailing 2-1. We win 10-5.
