    NAIA vs NCAA

To accept an athletic scholarship and be admitted can't be higher than the clearinghouse. The crux is once they attend their first class they than they have to adhere to that institution's academic standards set fourth by that institution as a freshman student. That is the part very few people...

I found the rule. Per NFHS 2015. Rule 2-50;Article 2: A runner becomes retired once legally scoring, or who is deemed out and still in the field during a live ball. So once the runner legally scored, she became retired and therefore is not eligible to be tagged out.

Once runner crosses home plate can she return to previous base.

bases loaded, ball popped up to infield, ball is not caught, runners advance at own risk, runner at third advances and crosses home plate. In the confusion the player thinks she has to go back to third and starts to run back, opposing team throws ball and tags her. After umpires meet, they...

    Sacrifice Bunts and Math

As a former Fastpitch coach who now coaches baseball, I want to discuss the OP's reference to bunting in baseball now, at the high school and college levels and I have been fortunate to have coached at both levels (baseball). The landscape of the two levels of the game offensively has changed...

    Obstruction or Bad Break?

With a runner at 2nd, 0 outs, hitter bunts the pitch, 3rd baseman fields the bunt, throws to first to get the hitter out. Runner on 2nd touches third and continues running to home. Defensive player who was on second, continues to head towards home trying to score. Defensive player turns and...
