    School colors: Dark green & White. Uniforms are black, dark grey, green and white. DD is partial to black mitts and an "H" pocket. I tried to get on this site earlier and IT must have it blocked. Don't they know how important this stuff is? Work can wait!

    See, I've been really intrigued by the Vinci's but have never seen one in person. My biggest problem is we don't have any stores that carry a good selection of quality catchers gloves for her to try. I don't think DH will like the credit card bill after I order 2 or 3 gloves for her to test.

    Showcase Advice for Coaches

    DD was in an academic showcase a couple years ago. In 1 at bat she was HBP 2 times and walked 3 times on the third walk the umpire made her take a base. After each incident she politely asked the ump if she could stay and attempt to HIT the ball.

    I agree with Gunner. Easier to teach blocking now if she has any desire to continue catching. NECC has a really good video. DD went to one of their winter traveling camps and took the parts that worked best for her and incorporated it into what she already does.

    First TB tournament this weekend. 3 Sat, 3 Sun and then bracket on Monday. The days start 7am both pool days. Getting up should be brutal as I'm out of super early morning driving mode. Good Luck to all this weekend!
