Base running question
Under ASA rules which is what NYS high schools go by, is there a rule reguarding a batter that walks has to touch the white base or the orange safety base or does it matter? Thank you- Ramchicken

Llws umpire
Wow does the ump in the Calif and Texas game want more offense or what, the only thing he is giving is right down the middle. The announces keep saying "good pitch" makes it tough on the kids I would think. JMHO- Ramchicken

I have a question and I'm not sure if this is the right place for it. Do most high schools have the individual records for their softball program available ? Scoring Question
A ball is hit toward the SS and the runner from 2nd runs into the SS and is out for interference. How is the AB scored for the batter? And does that batter lead off the next inning? Thanks- Ramchicken

Scoring question
A pitched ball hits the ground just behind the plate before it gets to the catcher, batter swings for 3rd strike, ball goes to back stop fence and batter goes to first. This costs pitcher perfect game, I asked score keeper how they scored it and they said coach said E2 (passed ball)...- Ramchicken
