    some pain on throwing

    u12 DD has some modest pain in forearm when she tries to throw hard. Seems to me, its related to her form, leads with elbow and then pushes the ball instead of getting on top of it. No pain outside of throwing. We know the issue, but anyone have any drill suggestions to work on this?

    Thanks to all for advice. DD had nice end to the season with a couple of hard hit balls. Still need to be more consistent with hands to quicken the swing up but at least some positive reinforcement until the next season.

    Good ideas, thanks Okie. also I'm putting a tee at like chest high level so she couldn't possibly drop hands without hitting the tee.

    Coach wants to slow her down since she jumps out at ball too quickly so wants her to step with front foot. I like the coach, worked well with other daughter but might be off base here. Morris county nj here

    She's done some tee work JJ but her view is she can hit off the tee so she wants to face pitching. Sounds like it's better to correct the problem via the tee though.

    Thanks all for good advice. For tee work, Should I set the tee a little higher then so the hands don't drop? Or do I just try and correct her when she drops hands? And yes in response to other comment, coaches are having her bunt since problem is obvious. She stays in lineup because she is...

    Video Thx, first time doing this. Here she actually does make contact but in a game when she tightens up a bit, no contact with basically same swing. And when I watch in slow mo seems like hands are way too low. Batting - YouTube

    Very frustrating for her so trying to figure things out. Think her main problem is her hands drops as she starts her swing, and then she swings up at the ball. Basically, she never makes contact even if pitcher is not throwing fast. Any suggestions would be welcome. Seems to me she is watching...
