DD played for an All Star team when she was 8. They played 6 games in one day in a certain tournament. We were at the fields at 9 am and got done at 9:30 pm! That was a loooong day...
Also, DD has played with several TB teams over the years. Not one team she's been on has won against a team...
My 14 yr old DD attended a camp at a DII college this past weekend. The coach was really impressed with her and asked her to stay back at the end of the camp. He then spoke with all of us. Even though he did not make an offer, he did tell her that she was probably going to get a lot of offers...
A total tangent, but had to share:

Thank you all for the helpful tips and videos. We'll incorporate all that we can and hopefully, by the time spring rolls around, she'll have fixed her problem.
Thanks 1bucketmom, appreciate your help. We have tried that trick. However, since she doesn't step out during practice, it doesn't bother her. Again, most of the problem surfaces during game time, facing live pitching.
Been looking for tips/drills to fix my DD's stepping out problem and found this thread.
My 14 YO has almost perfect swings (at least that's what her hitting coach(es) have told us) when she is practicing off a tee and softtoss. When it comes to game-time, it's like she's a different kid. Can't...

Is this break from all things softball? Or do you just take a break from pitching and still work on your hitting and fielding?
We use our GoPro with a LynkSpyder. However, setting it up seems to be very difficult. We have not been able to avoid the fence showing through the lens no matter how we position the device. Maybe we are doing something wrong? Please help!
My 13YO daughter had a brain surgery about 3 months ago and had to stop all softball activities for 2 months. Before surgery, she had a great arm and very rarely made throwing errors. Since she has been back however, her throwing mechanics have changed for the worse. On release, the ball spins...
Thank you all for your valuable input. I so badly wanted to talk to the coach and make my displeasure known. But, I did not want to be the difficult parent on the team. Glad I waited and got your opinions - I'll have her communicate with him.
My daughter is a pitcher on a 14U team and for the first time this weekend shook off a pitch the coach called. Reason - coach calls for a changeup and she knew that the batter had twice before had whacked the ball on the same pitch. Coach gets mad, calls for a timeout, walks up to her and tells...
