    What I have seen done before is this. The out is allowed to happen, then the umpire talks to the coach and lets him know, pretty much a warning. If she slings, or throws, the bat again she will be called out.

    Do your pitchers pitch to teammates in practice?

    We have our pitchers pitch when we are working on game situations. We are lucky enough to have 4 pitchers, so we don't let any of the pitch to more than maybe 10 batters. If we are having the girls take BP in the cage we use the pitching machine or one of us coaches will do it.
