Thankyou dj..... This will help us greatly......I will take some footage as we go from front toss..... her short quick swing is a product from the level she is playing here for her age....she is in A1 open women and faces good gas week in week out and has compensated to get the ball in play...
Correct SB..... I took the swing right back and worked on her hands to the ball as it was terrible....she had a great swing for cricket in my country as they say.... we are now starting to put everything back together hence my post.......I will keep this thread updated as we start to bring it...
Hahaha...No dingo but the little foxy dog sitting on what used to be his lush grass before renovations..... Hips need to be better and this is better than it was....I am teaching knob to pitcher short to long through......It is a work in progress and all this info will get us back on path...
Thanks SB , I see this now... We have spent alot of time on the hand path and hips as she was a prolific up and under swinger and the bat wouldnt spend much time in the hit zone..... she does make good contact but very late and almost always opposite field....

This is my 14yo DD, She spends alot of her training time pitching and has recently started to really work on her hitting game. It is a work in progress but has managed to secure a spot in the batting line up for her team and is going ok after having a DH last season.....

The hop is definitely more prominent in Australia, but there are still some US stride and daggers.
My DD uses the stride and drag and finds the hop difficult for accuracy.
I think the difficulty is more about what pitching technique is taught in Australia, very few and I mean very few...
