Out of season coach contact rules?
I think they are allowed to be supervised but not coached 2x a week and maybe being in the same facility could fall into that. Just don't want my daughter to not be able to play because of bad info given. Thanks for the help, I'll ask the AD directly and hope he can clarify things.- Lugnuts

Thanks, #12 under 9–12 Coaching Interpretations makes me think that the answer would be no, it is not allowed. The example is about swiming but seems like it would apply. Out of season coach contact rules?
I believe that the AD said it was ok and would think that they would have known. A coach from a different district didn't think that the state would agree though. Might reach out to the AD directly I guess since I was given the info 2nd hand before.- Lugnuts

NAIA scholarship question
I didn't realize this. My daughter will be coming in with a 4.0 and I'd expect would be on the JV squad to start out with at the very least. Sounds like there is a good chance she wouldn't count against their 10 scholarships then.- Lugnuts

That is part of the problem though, I was having a hard time determining what the college that offered goal was and didn't mean to lump all NAIA schools together. Would it be common for NAIA athletic programs to give money to help recruit students to the school more than to the team to help increase enrollment? She was hoping to be able to make the team and didn't expect any type of offer. She was offered about 10% of what full tuition would have been but...- Lugnuts
