    If my girls are missing "good" pitches, I do bunting practice @ the next practice. It seems to make them concentrate more on seeing the ball all the way to the bat.     Cell Phone Use Team Policy?

    I think it is the shortstop. Has to have the glove, spped to cover the holes and arm to gun them down, plus ability to cover 3rd base, 2nd base, and be cutoff. Shortstop all the way!!!!!!

    being hit by a pitch Your umpire definitely blew the call. Turning is most definitely an attempt to "get out of the way." What age group was this in? Not that it should matter.
