Friday check in matters 8/5/16.
both DDs have season ending tournaments this weekend. another rock-paper-scissors battle with DW to see who goes where. oldest DD had tryouts all week. leaving her current team to join a showcase team. it's been a rough week.- HoweMan

this EXACT thing happened on DD's team this past weekend. Our runner on second broke for 3rd right away. She had to jump over the grounder that was hit to SS. there was no hesitation, but the leap was exactly in front of the SS. SS bobbles the ball and makes a late throw to 1B. PU called...- HoweMan

not the highest, but the proudest for me: first year 10U, my DD is the catcher, she was only 8. Playing in our home town tourney against a neighboring town. One of their batters threw her bat into my DD after a hard foul. this shook my DD up a little bit so Blue gave her a minute to collect...- HoweMan
