Bat size
Strength conditioning is a big factor here. Use a heavy bat on drills and regular bat at batting cage. She will have to adjust her speed but will have more power to do more damage. I watched a lot of the videos that were on there and didn't see were coach Candrea had changed the USA ladies swing back to a baseball swing so i went to right veiw pros web site and still didn't see it. Your exact republication of this rule is correct. As an umpire,coach and father,if the catcher has enough time to catch the ball,bounce up and make the attempt to throw the ball to third base and the batter is still in the box then the answer to your question would be yes.Rule 7: section 6- HG dad

pitcher If she really wants to play ,let her play both.She can get more mound time.Sounds like starter at rec level and pool game pitcher at select level.Really good pitchers are rare don't let her beat herself up or give up.- HG dad

upward swing???? Baseball is an upward swing because of the angle of the ball coming in.Softball swing is basically level because the ball is coming in either level or upward. This is advanced but it works from select through college and olympics so i use it.- HG dad

couple of things A couple of things here.If she throws the ball to third and it hits the batter or the bat because batter is still in batters box,thats batter interference ball is dead and batter is out(ASA).A drop and block pitch is no reason to give up on a throw down under a two out, runner...- HG dad

throw down I think all of this info in a way is correct. First thing to remember is that you have to teach at an aggressive rate. Let her throw down the way she has to in games but at practice make her do it right.There will be lots of mistakes and a lot of sore muscles but if she is willing to...- HG dad
