thanks board, so, say, on a fastball, a 6-12 rotation is not required? man, am i off base! i thought that is why we put the black stripe on the ball? so if i am releasing, as you are suggesting, i have a 9 - 3 ish or 8-2 spin, right? i just wanna be clear.
i am sorry, i still don't get it. if our thumb is traveling from 3rd base to 1st base during release. doesn't that give us a bullet spin. i guess i am confused because it has been drilled into my head that you want a 6-12 spin. i am open minded. what i am reading and viewing makes much sense...
please excuse me for being a novice, but asking questions is key to learning. if during the release phase the wrist rotates from out to in, would this not create a bullet spin?

the stop action shots really speak volumes. it is hard for me to see all of that from the bucket. i clearly see the swimming, plantfoot at 12. i'll try & figure out how to open it up a bit more. do more one legged drills for the leaning.
